This business is absolutely a rip off! I cannot believe that they can get away with the business practices they use. My granddaughter ordered a prom dress from their Prommeup website. The cost was $298. When she received the dress she was in tears. She said the dress looked like something that came from K-Mart. It was also extremely short and not even a decent length to be worn by a 17 year-old. In addition, the material and quality of the dress was appalling. There couldn't have been $10 worth of material and it was very flimsy. What was supposed to be sequins as shown in the picture turned out to be nothing but cheap glitter that kept falling off. Upon checking with them, they stated the dress could not be returned for a refund because it was a special order. The dress she ordered was a Size 4 and this is a very standard size - nothing that needs to be special ordered. I immediately realized the scam they were using. I believe that every dress that is ordered is treated in this manner. The purchaser is informed that it is a special order and then when they want to return the dress a refund is refused for that reason. To me it was very obvious that this is how this company operates. I went to their website (unfortunately after the fact) and read several reviews from people who had horrific experiences with them also. I can't understand how they are still in business.
