Do not go to Pet Supply. My dog is recovering from a serious illness and I went to the store for vitamin supplements. I purchased a powder that my dog ate initially but then refused -- the seal was not quite intact when I first got the container home but figured it had gotten tweaked when it had been shipped. I returned it to the store for a refund and bought high grade treats supplemented with multivitamins as a substitute. The owner offered me a discount if I took all of the remaining packages, "they're being discontinued and I want to get rid of them." My dog ended up vomiting after I had given him a few at home. They were meat based and perishable, I spotted the expiration date at that point which stated they had expired almost 10 months ago. I called the company of this high grade product and they stated that the product is NOT being discontinued, that it is very popular. I'm angry that my already sick dog has been even sicker for the past two days, it breaks my heart that I gave him something that I thought would help him but only hurt him more. From the owner's apparent slimey behavior on the treats I question whether the powder had been someone else's return that had sat in their hot car for a while (???? this is only speculation, but my dog had had that same product in the past without any problems and had loved it, so the fact I bought it from this man and he wouldn't touch it, coupled with the owner's business tactics on selling expired food makes me wonder.......).
