Gerald Modell 21 West 47th Street will examine your diamonds to see if they are real or fake with a diamond scratch pencil before he will go through with the loan. He will assure you that you cant scratch a diamond and the scratch pencil is totally safe. THAT IS A DELIBERATE LIE! Every diamond Modell examines with that scratch pencil he scratches and potentially can fracture the diamond. Modell can destroy your diamond where you can lose thousands of dollars and get away with it. DONT ALLOW ANYONE TO USE A DIAMOND SCRATCH PENCIL ON YOUR DIAMOND.. If anyone has had their diamond pawned at Modell, have your diamond examined by a jewelry appraiser and photograph the scratches and fracture caused by Modells inconsiderate deceitful destructive diamond identification. Take him to court! If a so called professional cant identify a real diamond from a fake without damaging your diamond, go somewhere else!
