I went to visit family in Brownsville over the weekend to enjoy a birthday party for my twin niece and nephew. I happen to play with them on the trampoline and landed on my left ankle. I had two family members suggest Valley Day & Night Clinic because of their attention and responsibility. I will state first of all, that I work at a major trauma emergancy hospitial and know protocols and HIPAA regulations.

My dad dropped me off at 855 right in front of the door, I happened to noticed they close at 10 pm so I thought it was perfect timing to arrive but I left with a bad impression of this place. The door to my room was left opened, the nurses were talking openly about personal stuff and I even saw one nurse while on duty, change to a 'going-out outfit' low cut top, tight jeans and 4 inch open toed shoes. I had the doctor and the workers laughing at me when I was down. The doctor that looked at my ankle and stated the xrays were suspicious, he walked away when I question him and ordered a 3rd completed foot xray. He made the comment will going around the nurse station in a laughing matter that the cops need to be called..."it's suspicios, we need to call 911 or the FBI!!!" Then the nurses were stating that it was one of their coworkers fault that they were not going to leave early because HIS job was not completly done referring to my 3rd foot xray. The doctor suggested that I go see another doctor on that following Monday for a recheck up but did not want me to have a referral, nor the results, nor my own xray films. Granted my insurance is paying for it, the doctor yell in his raspy voice to give me a diskette. I made the comment that I know about the regulations, the doctor looked at me in a bad face and made the comment not to tell him his job!!!

Well, I was at the check out desk, the nurses were already walking out and turning off the lights behind me. The only lights that were being used were the ones on the computer and it was barely 940. The guy at the front desk did not want to give me a copy of my super bill, all that I got was a receipt with no name of the company, just that I paid my copay that happened to have the time stamp one hour inadvance. He directed me to the side door where three of my family members were waiting. My dad said that someone told him to move the car because it was in the way. He stationed the car one parking lot over and let me state that no one else, not a single car was there. THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OVER IN MY LIFE!!! Even if you paid me to go there, I would not even bother.
