I'm finding the whole Angie's List thing very curious. The intro says that contractors don't pay to be on the list but I know one who has paid them $300 a month to be on it. Huh? The same contractor received a bad review from someone on a job he'd never done, but their position was essentially, "Gee, tough luck, sir."
I've advised him to sue. As for everyone else, my advice is caveat emptor.
